This months box included Three recipes using items from the box and the rub came with a coupon but it was expired. An info sheet listed all of the items inside, as well as brief descriptions, photos, and retail prices for each one.
Time to look inside.
Goya Refried Pinto Beans
Cholesterol free with a chunky but smooth texture. We buy these all the time, they are absolutely perfect for making bean burritos or bean and cheese quesadilla’s. I love getting products I usually buy in my box!
Goya Black Beans
We have not tried refried black beans before getting this can. They have a nice flavor and consistency, maybe a bit thicker than regular refried beans. My family and I liked them in a taco salad.
Luna Bars Lemon Zest Flavor
Gluten-free, these bars help keep you nourished throughout the day. My goodness, these are so good. I’ve already bought more! If you like lemon as much as I do, you will be very happy with these.
Grounded Snacks from Lundberg Family Farms
For those who are eliminating gluten from their diet, this product is a snack you will want to try. They have a good taste and a great crunch. The Aged White Cheddar flavor was wonderful. These chips paired well with the salsa included in the box.
Sir Kensington’s Spicy Ketchup
My husband and I love this ketchup! To me, the taste is better than the regular ketchup. The color and texture are exactly the same, but the flavor is better. We both tried this on hotdogs, it added just the right amount of kick, so good.
Mrs. Renfro’s Craft Beer Salsa
I have tried Mrs. Renfro’s products before and loved them. This salsa is chunky, a bit spicy but not too hot, and has an excellent flavor. The salsa doesn’t taste strongly of beer, which I appreciated. Paired excellently with tacos.
The Spice Hunter Coriander Lime Global Fusion Rub
Inspired by Thai cuisine, this adds a fragrant, citrusy flavor to chicken and fish. We haven’t tried this yet but looking forward to using it on my next baked chicken. We love lime and coriander.
Boboli Pizza Crust
Boboli products are so good, they remind me of homemade. We have made pizza many times using these pizza crusts. I was so excited to see this in the box. When cooked the crust is moist, not crumbly and very flavorful. So easy to use, and I think they taste great. They also freeze well.
Tigar Tail Mustard
We also tried this Tiger Tail mustard on our hotdog. It has a better, slightly sweeter flavor than the mustard we normally use. Excellent taste for yellow mustard.
Boboli Pizza Sauce
We tried this sauce for the first time. Completely surprised with the fresh taste of the sauce. Great basic tomato flavor with just enough flare to make for an interesting, delicious pizza. I can’t wait to try it in meatloaf. The flavor will be perfect in one.
