Time Inc. Books Cooking That Counts by the Editors of Cooking Light Review
I read a lot of cookbooks, and this one is well done.
I like how it’s divided into meals, that makes it easy to find what you’re looking for.
I like the idea of having a cookbook in which you can plan your meals and not really worry about counting the calories because they are already counted for you. Healthy recipes are my favorite and when it helps me to lose weight that’s even better. I see several recipes in this book that will be a regular meal in our house.
I have been enjoying cooking with this cookbook. It has many tasty recipes. The images are beautiful and the meals come out great without being labor intensive. The recipes don’t use a ton of ingredients and many items are commonly on hand. There’s also information on cooking skills and menu plans. I like how simple and easy it is to make most of these recipes. I also like that they focus on calorie counts.
This is a wonderful addition to my cookbook selection.
