Before there was Paulk’s Pride, there was Papa Jacob, a man truly ahead of his time. He planted muscadine vines for fresh-market consumption in 1970, and began making muscadine seed capsules by hand in 2000. That’s how Paulk’s Pride got its start!
Paulk’s Pride was kind enough to send me a bottle of their purple muscadine juice and a jar of their muscadine jelly to review.
The muscadine, also known as the grape of the south, is more flavorful than traditional grapes. My grandmother kept us stocked with muscadine jelly during my childhood. We were always coming back for more.
The muscadine jelly sent for review, brought back those great childhood memories. I have to admit, ours never tasted that good. It was delicious! Absolutely wonderful on morning biscuits.
The muscadine juice had that sweet delicious taste of fresh muscadines. It was heavenly and gone in one sitting. It was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. So fresh, as if it was straight of the vine! This juice is great chilled straight from the bottle.
Naturally full of antioxidants! Paulk’s Pride: Healthy. Natural. Simple.
Paulk’s Pride has graciously offered one lucky reader the opportunity to win 1 bottle of white muscadine juice, 1 bottle of red muscadine juice and a trio of jams. ARV $34.
