My grandmother taught my sister and I to crochet when I was about 8. Of course all we knew how to do was the granny square. Several years ago I took up crocheting again and started making blankets for my children and grandchildren.
My little 5 year old grandson is so crazy about anything Star Wars so I decided to try making him a Star Wars blanket. I found graphs on Pinterest, changed a few to suit my needs and made a few of my own. I crocheted 34 small graphs and one large one to make a blanket as wide as a queen size bed and as long as I wanted it. Here are a few samples.
I’m now in the process of sewing in all the ends and putting the blanket together. As you can see I’m not halfway finished. I will add a picture of the blanket when completed.
The blanket is complete and my grandsons love it!
